Frequently asked Questions
Our anticipation is huge and we can hardly wait to finally have visitors at an event again. We have been planning and organising the first Double World Cup in Saalfelden Leogang for months. But the most important pillar to make it a safe experience for all participants is your help. We appeal to you to observe the measures that have been taken, to treat each other with respect and distance and, in view of the last few months, we ask for your understanding if there are any restrictions compared to the last few years.
Online ticket sales have unfortunately ended. BUT there is still a small contingent of daily tickets available for purchase on site.
There will be the possibility to buy rest tickets on site every day. Unfortunately, these cannot be reserved in advance. The ticket office is easy to find and is located directly at the Asitzbahn valley station ticket office in Leogang. Tickets can only be purchased at the counter with a credit card.
There are a number of reasons. Perhaps the strongest arguments:
- You can experience your racing heroes LIVE, but at a distance.
- Your seat is allocated on the grandstands - in combination with the video walls, they offer the perfect view of the racing action.
- The FFP2 mask requirement at the seats has been dropped - so it's easier to cheer loudly and enjoy the race
- The weather forecast promises to be very good weather forecast
Online payment with credit or debit card.
Considering the necessary measures and to ensure security for all, we can only offer a small contingent.
Choose your ticket (day ticket Friday, Saturday or Sunday). Due to the current regulations, there are only allocated seats. Seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. You cannot choose your seat (i.e. there is no seating plan booking). Important: If you buy several tickets, you must provide the contact details of your companions here without exception. The current regulations for events require that the current contact details (name, address and telephone number) are stored with each ticket. After payment has been made, you will receive an order confirmation and an invoice. Only shortly before the event (approx. three days before) will you receive the actual ticket by e-mail.
Parking spaces are available at Forsthoffeld (access behind Biohotel Rupertus), Bachmühle car park (vis a vis Bachmühle) car park at the valley station of the Steinberg cable car.
Secure Code is a 3D secure procedure that is used when paying by credit card in online shops. Via the service, you additionally assign a password to your credit card, which you need for online shopping. This means that you confirm your identity directly with your bank each time you make a purchase. Please contact your bank if you have not yet activated this function.
No. Only if you have received your booking confirmation (please also check your spam/junk mail folder) are your tickets safe. If you have not received a booking confirmation or if error messages (e.g.: Secure Code) appeared during the purchase process, you have not booked any tickets.
Friday ticket seat numbers apply to both the Downhill Qualifying and Short Track grandstands. You have to change the grandstand and the seat number is noted on the ticket.
The current regulation for outdoor events stipulates that there must be allocated seating. It is very difficult to implement this along the route. The track runs through forests, over meadows and in rough terrain. In addition, there is the issue of space. It should be safe for all participants. For this reason, there are grandstands in the easily accessible event area in the valley. These grandstands are the only possibility to visit the Out of Bounds Festival in 2021 as a visitor.
In addition to regional ordinances and measures (BH Zell am See and Land Salzburg), the 214th ordinance of the Federal Minister for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, which issues the ordinance on the first opening steps in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic (COVID-19 Opening Ordinance - COVID-19-ÖV) and amends the COVID-19 Opening Ordinance (1st amendment to the COVID-19 Opening Ordinance).
Among other things, a video wall will be placed clearly visible at each grandstand. This way, you will be perfectly informed about the sections of the track that you cannot see.
Seats are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Unfortunately, a free choice of seats is not possible. Therefore, tickets purchased later will not be placed next to the previous tickets already purchased.
For this reason, we recommend that if you wish to stay together as a group, you purchase your tickets as part of an overall booking process. Attention: please note that for each individual ticket, according to the regulation, the correct information (name, address, telephone number, email address) must be provided. This is one of the measures regarding Covid-19.
You cannot change your seats on site. The seats are fixed from the time of your booking, as the respective visitors have to be registered per seat.
