SDS Artists' House of the “schule-des-sehens.at” Association With its diverse range of offerings, seminars, and workshops, “schule-des-sehens.at” and the “sds artists' house” have already matured into a well-attended creative hub. Main areas of focus: Seminars for all those interested in art—beginners and advanced students in the fields of painting, sculpture, video, photography, and digital media. The name “Schule des Sehens” (School of Seeing) was founded in 1953 by Oskar Kokoschka, which developed into the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. In 2009, the municipality of Saalfelden also supported this idea and made the former estate of the artist couple, the König family, available to the association.
